- El fet de presentar el Ray Trapani tant cofoi des de bon començament representa un indici prou clar que l'assumpte ha d'acabar en impunitat.

COMENTARI: Un homenatge, gairebé... Sembla ben bé un altre argument per recolzar allò de "el crim surt a compte", un altra història de pocavergonyes sense escrúpols enredant amb èxit passerells cegats per la cobdícia, quelcom tant antic com la humanitat mateixa. I hom podria opinar que, en aquests casos d'estafa, la culpa és tant del que enganya com del que es deixa enganyar. Perquè tampoc es pot anar per la vida amb el lliri a la mà, coi! Ja. De fet, fins i tot, hi haurà qui admiri el trampista per espavilat i eixerit. Oi? En fi, cadascú amb la seva consciència... Jo diria que, entre la mentida i l'ambició, només la primera és reprovable. Però, jo què sé? Doncs, res, m'ha servit per conèixer per sobre l'afer en qüestió i per posar-me de mala llet. Em reconforta, almenys, que entre els malfactors es retreguin cosetes.
